I have a 2007 equionx I am still paying on it and I smell gas in it, also in my cooling system. I don't know what to say about it, they need to really have a recall to fix all these problems.

Strong gas fumes, whole thing went out 1 year before the recall. No re embursment for us. I reported it to the nearest Chevy dealership. With out any response back. Again total out of pocket.Will never purchase a Chevy again.

There a recall on it , have called recall center to get money back they keep giveing me the round around. have taken my car to dealers 3 time and still cant get paid. have called and talked to recall people and they tell me they cant give my money back until I get another recall letter.

Original recall for leak at fuel pump module was September 2012. I had it fixed through the recall. On December 5, 2019 I had an oil change at Jiffy Lube. When I got in the car and drove away from Jiffy Lube I could smell a strong gas smell. I didn't think much about it at the time but when it continued every time I drove the car I began to wonder if this was the same problem as the 2012 recall. I haven't had it checked out yet because I'm afraid if I take it in to the dealer I'll end up having to pay a lot of money to fix it when it should be fixed for free due to the previous recall!!
