Equinox LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

The car has either faulty fuses, or faulty air bag system. The light has been on whether there is a passenger or not. Too expensive to fix if problem cannot be fixed at dealership. Have had multiple tests run at dealership, and they’re not sure they can fix it.

The front passenger air bag sensor is faulty in my chevy equinox 2007. It is sometimes on and sometimes off.

The Murray Chevy dealer quotes a price of $850 with labor to repair . It seems many 2007 equinox's have the same issue, many of them also have recalls but my VIN number does not have any recalls for this issue. GM should fix this for free as it a huge safety concern. One can see a lot of complaints with the air bag sensors in 2007 model.
