Looks like I can add my SUV to the list of heater door actuators needed repair. The clicking is making me crazy!

I believe that the blender door which controls the defrost of the front and driver-passenger side windows is an extreme problem and very hazardous. The lack of a defroster makes it a very serious problem while driving. I find it hard to believe that the blender door would fail and cause this problem after only 5 years.

After having had my car in the service department over eight times in the last 90 days to get the air conditioning fixed. Now the blend door is broken. I'm told it's the actuator so it's only going to be around $200 if its the actual door, that's going to be a whole other ball game. I have to pay for this out of pocket because it's not covered under warranty

Why can't Chevy have a recall on the blender door? I was told that several other vehicles are affected by this as well. I use to be a loyal Chevy man till I found out Chevy, that this $20 piece will cost me over $ 1200 to fix .
