hesitant acceleration from complete stop

My wife had to have this 2013 Chevy Equinox. We bought it on Friday and went to my brothers in Bloomington, Illinois. On the way there and back the Engine was sluggish or rough Accelerating.

This is just one of the issues that I have noticed, the rest will come after this one.

My car is has stalled/died on me about 5 times now. Usually happen in parking lots or at low speed. There is a horrible knocking sound when i start it up and i personally feel unsafe in the vehicle and i am livid that there isnt a recall. I know there are recalls for the 2010 and 2011 but i havent seent anything yet for the 2012 and 2013 Equinox.

I bought a new car so I would have something reliable. I was still stuck along side the road for 4 hours waiting for roadside assistance. Very disappointed in my new car. I have had it for one year and 13 days.
