The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Express 1500. While driving approximately 25 mph, the contact noticed that the vehicle was leaking antifreeze. The vehicle was inspected by both an authorized dealer and an independent mechanic who stated that the failure was a plastic intake gasket leak. The vehicle had not been repaired and the contact had not called the manufacturer. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000. The current mileage was approximately 60,000.

The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they replaced the fuel filter, however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then towed to a GM dealer, who replaced the crank sensor. The contact stated that the vehicle is currently operating normally. The current mileage was 16,612 and failure mileage was 16,594.
