THis hhr would jerk, all meters in the car would go haywire the gear shift would click and the car would act as if it wanted to shut down sputter jerk then slam in to 2nd. this is an automatic.
Solution: Traded it in on a chevy 1 month before the announcement of the recall! Something that is very costly for a couple that is on disability.
We had been to the dealer numerous times to have the problems fixed and the computer codes kept coming up different each time.
In short was frightening never could judge when it would happen. highway or not.

Advised dealership of problem prior to repairs. Intake actuator solenoid issue, reset P0011 and circuit test on VVT Actuator Solenoid.

you drive down the road and it starts jerking then all the gauges go crazy. and you have to pull over and shut it off and hit the unlock on the key and pray it starts.
