Impala LS 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 109,000 miles

Chevy's are a piece of crap. I will never own another. As soon as this vehicle is fixed it will be sold. 2004 Chevy Impala LS 3.8L V6 with 109,000 miles and a blown head and who knows what else. Chevy as far as I am concerned can shove these cars through their nose. I own 6 other vehicles not to mention the various other Ford's and Dodge's I have owned and put many many miles on them and they still run with not one major problem. I should have done what my son said to do the day I even thought about buying a Chevy. WALK AWAY...NO BETTER YET...RUN FAR AWAY. I was in total shock when I searched the internet on my blown head to find this is a major problem with these Impalas. But guess what Chevy I will never own one of your cars again. Sorry Ford and Dodge...I betrayed you. You can bet I will never do that again. I guess you can say this is my punishment.

Proud owner of: 1988 Ford Taurus over 400,000 miles traded for - 1989 Dodge Caravan 300,000+ miles traded for - 1997 Ford Escort 210,000 miles still own 1994 Ford Tempo 120,000 miles traded for - 1998 Ford Contour GL 250,000 miles - still own 2001 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 LS 124,000 miles ( regret getting rid of this SUV)- traded for 1999 Dodge Caravan 140,000 miles - lost my mind - traded for this POS - 2004 Chevy Impala 109,000 blown head 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 117,000+ miles - still own 1992 Dodge Shadow no sh*t it has 17012 miles - still own 2007 Ford Explorer 54,000+ miles - still own

See why I will only ever own Ford or Dodge.....shove it Chevy

Impala LS 3.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

This car has been a lemon since day one. Started off by leaking water into the passenger cabin, dealer said that a drain plug was installed sideways. As a result of the water in the cabin, the main power wire to the amplifier corroded and shorted out. Dealer told me they would have to replace the radio...wrong, the wire on the passenger side floorboard had to be stripped and reconnected 2 mins to fix not $500 for a new radio. Next, Car started to intermittently overheated, with a loss of heating and cooling, dealer flushed the system and said the car is ok....not, took it to an independent shop who says that the head gasket is blown. How can I be added to the class action lawsuit..I have purchased my last GM vehicle.

Impala 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,500 miles

Wow, GM, enjoy our money you bastards.

You'd think after the speedometer cluster went and the water pump went and the blower motor housing corroded causing the motor to stay on even when the car was off and allowed water to leak all over my passenger side floor, I would have blown this car car up in a corn field out west. Now just two weeks after the blower motor BS my head gasket blows out, for no reason, this car is great on some levels but damn does it wreak of sour lemons. Here is my arm and here is my leg, oh and I forgot the millions of taxpayer dollars too, greedy bastards. I do find some comfort that there are so many of you that have had one or all of these problems. It's too bad that there isn't some lawyer who wants to sue them with all of our help. F*#@ GM.

I just purchased this vehicle and did not buy the extended warranty. I am not faced with a car that needs a new head gasket at the least. I now find out Chevrolet knew about the problem. What is my next step?
