Brake assist, traction control, stablitrack, and ABS lights continually coming on. When breaking while making a turn the breaks slip or give and then suddenly grab hold causing a grinding sound. Car wobbles while these lights are on causing a noticeable change in stability and control.

When I got the car I new it needed new tires so I went to the tire shop fro.M the dealership but I ask the dealer if the car had been in an accident because I could feel it shimmy he was trying to sale me and 2009 but I could here its power steering pump was out they were both the same price it only made since to get the newer car. After putting new tires on I seen it needed oil change then and transmission needed serviced. While I was doing that I called to ask the guy if he was going to help me out. Lol yea bring it in all charge you twice as much as the place you are at right now so I let him know I would let all my friends know. It was one thing after another. Its been one thing after another then the flapper for the vent started flapping and makes an awful noise all the time there no working air conditioning so I took it to a mechanic to look at it needs brakes and rotters and the list goes on and on so I wanted to get out of the 29.9 interested the loan office contract me because im paying it off to fast and says I signed to wrong loan agreement and wants more money there in cahoots together it wouldnt let me mark everything thats wrong

January 2019 was driving on a very congested interstate 95 at the posted speed limit of 65. A warning popped up on my dash board.service stabil trak engine in reduced power. It was like I longer controlled my car. The speed suddenly dropped. I went from 65mph to maybe 30mph. It felt like my brakes were being applied. I became scared and almost started to panic. But because I was in the far right lane I was able to pull off the interstate. I sat there on the side of the interstate with my heart racing and my hands locked on the steering wheel so hard they cramped up. I turned off my car and removed the keys from the ignition. I thanked god I was alone in that car. I thanked god the car behind me was not tailgating me. I waited for about 5 minutes and then put the key back in the ignition and started the car up. The warning was gone but the service engine light remained on. I was scared to death to merge back onto the interstate so I put on my flashers and drove on the shoulder at 20-30mph until I got to the first exit. I made it home. I called a car repair company. They told me the sensor more than likely need to be reset. They suggested I take it to a Chevy dealership service center. The next day I started my car up and all warning were gone so I did not take it to the service center. The car ran fine until today 52/20/2019. I just filled my tank up with gas. Turned it on put it in gear and drove 20feet when the same error came on. I had looked up this error on the internet. Seems lots of americans have almost been killed because a car maker has a mechanism built in to it vehicle that takes control of the speed to which the vehicle is traveling. People are spending a lot money to fix an issue that seems to not have a fix. Chevrolet is putting the lives and the lives of others on the roads in jeopardy with their stabil trak computer sensors.your failing americans

While driving 60 mph, go a service stabilatrak, reduced engine power, then engine turned itself off. Fortunately, I was on a straight road as power steering and brakes did not work. After rolling to a stop, I put it in park and tried to restart. Nothing! no clicking at all. After 5 minutes and multiple attempts, car started and drove normally"?" car only has 36,000 miles on it.

Car gets service stabitrack, traction control and ABS warning on dash. Replacing wheel hubs with sensors does not fix this issue. Sometimes the car will want to apply brakes while driving or reduce engine speed. I have been through many forums with people reporting the same issue on the same car and through multiple years of manufacturing. From the research I have done in the last few days it looks like hundreds of owners have reported this issue but Chevrolet is not doing anything to correct it. Not sure at this point if it is the wiring harness causing the problem or if this could be something with the computer that controls the stabitrack, ABS and traction control. If cars are loosing power and or the brakes are being applied with out driver control this can lead to dangerous driving conditions for the car owner passengers and everyone else driving on the same road. With how many people are reporting this I do not see why the car owner should need to pay thousands of dollars to diagnose and maybe fix the issue. From what I have read some people have had to pay for multiple service events and the issue still not resolved.

When coming to a stop my ABS service stability traction control service brake lights all come on then my 2011 hesitation to stop when braking. Even if I go slow or just stopping at a stop sign. It pushes my foot from the brake. A cranking noise sound. I have gotten brake, tire rods, roaders and new tires. I don't know what else to do. This happens specifically when on the highway when having to come to a sudden stop. I almost crashed several times not being able to stop. Mind you my car only has 65000 miles on it. This is just too soon.

I continue to have problems with my front left hub after replacing. I have replaced the wiring harness as well. Wondered if there are service bulletins with this same issue. While driving the car it makes a horrible grinding noise described to me as the hub adjusting the speed of one tire to match the other. It also flashes brake assist and stabilitrack issues as well as anti lock alert. This happens mostly turning left but most recently even while driving straight down the road.

My service stabilitrack, reduce engine power light came on while I was exiting the freeway. When this happened I had almost no brake pedal. I couldn't stop at the light at the end of the exit, luckily no other cars were around. If I had been on a main street at 45mpr and had to stop for a red light I would have never stopped on time. I'm very lucky no cars were at the light waiting or coming in a different direction with the green light. I see this problem all over edmunds and on you tube and as far as I can tell it's 100% Chevrolet. How can this not be a recall. There are dozens and dozens of the same complaint on edmunds and you tube. It seems like every you tube video has a different fix for the problem....from pulling out the fuse to the stabilitrack to over a thousand dollars in repairs. Does there have to be a death to get the attention of Chevrolet. The light had come on a few times before but this was the first time it happened while I was driving. Usually it came on and I would turn the car off for a few minutes and it would be fine......so how could this be anything but a malfunction if it goes off and on at any whim. They must know about this problem as it seems to be very prevalent and again from what I have read it's always a Chevrolet.

Front brake calipers binding on my 2011 Chevy Impala lt. New rotors and ceramic pads installed 2,000 miles ago and now warped again. I have $275 invested and was told by my mechanic that there may be a factory recall on the calipers. There is 56,000 on my 2011 Impala now. The vehicle was in motion while this was happening and got worse after a few hard stops. Also check stability control system warning came on and vehicle went into reduced power mode which is very dangerous in traffic.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Impala. While the vehicle was parked on an incline with the contact's foot on the brake pedal, the vehicle was started and proceeded to shift from park to drive. The vehicle started to roll backwards and struck the vehicle in its rear. There were no injuries and a police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 77,595.

Today our 2011 Impala displayed msgs for "service traction control, service stabilitrack, engine power reduced". we started to pull over as it dramatically slowed. The engine then died. We were on a 6 lane highway going 45. This could have been deadly. We received a recall letter for the throttle position sensor. The dealer did not repair it because they could not reproduce the error.

G.M. replaced my ingintion switch on a national recall. I was hit in left rear qtr. Panel. I lost all power and could not stop or steer the car. I careened across highway and ran into a house. No air bags deployed either. G.M. sent a team to recover computer info and has now told me there is no problem.
