This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on the steps to diagnose and repair vehicles that have an intermittent crank / no start concern. Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Code P1682 set in the Engine Control Module. After using all published Service Information diagnostics and the root cause is not determined, then replace the KR75 Engine Controls Ignition Relay # 7 with part number 13595908.
