This form is inadequate for reporting on the unsafe feature involving the inadequate lighting of the odometer and gear selector portion of the instrument panel. Under bright daylight this area is not readable due to automatic dimming beyond the control of the driver. In addition, the polarizing effect of sunglasses compounds the problem. GM and nshta apparently couldn't care less. What are you waiting for, waiting for someone to get killed while trying to see the distance travelled??
