Orlando 2.4L

Bought this Van couple month ago, never had Chevy Orlando in my entire life. Changed oil going to long trip about 1500 kms, when I coming back to home heard loud sound from engine once engine stop but luckily start again right away but engine light turned on. Thanks to my Almighty arrived safely but sounds so horrible. My mechanic look at and found there was no engine oil when he checked even though I had oil changed before leaving for trip hardly 2500 km drove altogether. He told me car engine has problem to burn excessive oil could tends to engine seized most dangerous thing there is no overheating indication in my dashboard.

This is very awful. I heard some other manufacturer covered under to replace the whole engine

Is there any possibility with my vehicle.

I heard a super loud clicking sound and took it right to the dealership and found that it had burnt all the oil. I had just had an oil change two weeks prior and they said that it was low. They replaced all the pistons, but I was more surprised that my car didn't even show the LOW OIL light or anything.

My last 2 oil changes were done at Calgary Motor Products. My car was running very rough not unusual until it stalled and wouldn't start. Had it towed to the dealership and was told that there was no oil in my vehicle and maybe because of this my timing chain was damaged. They told me it would be fixed because I still have 2 warranties that are still valid that I bought when I purchased my vehicle. I was then told that they wanted to see every receipt from all my oil changes since I purchased the vehicle. I don't have every single one so they will not honor the warranties. They also want to charge me over $500, just to tell me they wont fix it unless I pay $3500.00 or more.No where in the warranty do I see that in the policy. Don't buy this car or any car from Calgary Motor Products. I was treated like dirt and they don't stand up to their guarantee of customer satisfaction. The sensors are also faulty that is why my car was drained of oil and no indicators came on to tell me. I felt that I was sold a lemon and because I am female they just want to brush me off and wont do anything to help me. I was called dear and said they cant do anything for me even though this is the 4th car I have bought just from that particular dealership. Boo on Them. I will never give them any business again, and will never purchase another GM vehicle.
