I have noticed when the weather is warm my AC will turn itself on even if the AC button is not pressed as long as the temperature control knob inside the car is not turned towards the warmer to hotter range. It is annoying because in order for my AC not to be used (try not to use it when gas prices are high as it robs power from the engine and decreases MPG) I have to turn the temperature knob to warm or hot and really cook myself when it is already warm or hot outside. That is the only way I can get it not to run when the weather is warm. If I turn the temperature knob toward the cooler side the AC turns on again even if the AC button isn't pressed. Not sure what would be causing this as if it was a fuse it wouldn't work at all. It's just an inconvenience so I haven't invested the money to have it repaired.
