When turning the steering wheel to the right, the consumer would hear noise coming from the steering wheel. The owner contacted the dealership. Please add any further information. Consumer was told the warranty was expired, tough cookies and since they were GMC and not cheverolet they wouldn't do anything. GMC was going to charge $488. For parts plus labor. The consumer replaced the part himself.

Chevrolet S-10, 2000, with 19000 miles on it. Left front wheel bearing had to be replaced. It also, was never driven in the winter, so there is no salt damage. We had an independent mechanic do the job because the Chevrolet dealership would not get back with us.,and we think something should be done. We paid $329.02 to have this work done. Also, I heard that a lot of these trucks and Blazer have had this same problem.
