S-10 Pickup 4.3L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 6,000 miles

Driver's door seal has a gap in it. You can see a little crack between the door and the door seal. It sounds like the window is cracked when your driving faster than 40 miles/hour. I'm deaf in the left ear, but my girlfriend complains when she rides in the passenger seat. We have to take her car. How can I get tighten the door so it seals tighter?

S-10 Pickup LX 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission

Seems to be a fairly common problem with the S10. A friend who owns a body shop is going to fix the problem. We worked out a barter deal, otherwise it was going to cost $400.00 to repair/replace door.
