My 1998 Chevrolet pickup seems to have an ongoing problem in the anti-lock brake system. The system activates on dry or wet pavement at slow speeds. It's like a pulsating feeling on the pedal or I like to call it a crunching feel with a noise. It does this about 90% of the time. I have spent over $600 at an independent repair shop with out any real diffrence in the way it works. At this point I have been putting up with the problem wondering if the system will fail. Iwould guess that it takes about 2 to 5 ft. Extra to stop at 5 to 10 mph.

Silverado 4WD

There are irregularities in speedometer. Speedometer reads faster than actual timed speed, this causes fuel mileage to be false and consumer states it gets the manufacturer out of warranty faster. When ABS are applied, if the rear wheels encounter a bump, the rear brakes stay out of action putting all braking on front wheels.
