Silverado

  • 88,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the ABS light illuminated on the dashboard. The contact noticed that the brakes and rotors were wearing excessively due to a defective hub senor that controlled the braking system. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer to have the hub sensor and brake bearing replaced three times. None of the repairs remedied the issue with the braking system. The contact called the manufacturer regarding NHTSA campaign I.D. 07E106000 (wheels:cap/cover/hub). The manufacturer advised that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 88,000.
