Silverado LT 5.8L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 53,923 miles

In one month on this 2009 Silverado I had to replace fuel pump, modular that controls the fuel pump, 2 oxygen sensors and just now power steering pump and rack and pinion. All at 53,922 and cost of $2340.00 I think that sucks. Bad thing is I own 5 Chevys.

Silverado WT 4.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,351 miles

It all started by me looking on how to install a transmission cooler on this vehicle, I then noticed that the vehicle was equipped with a power steering fluid cooler and lines that are rotting away and rust is flaking on the lines near the cooler and the cooler itself seems also pretty rotten, a problem about to happen! Lost of power steering caused by a leak, has to be repaired or else my confidence in this vehicle will be extremely diminished as I use it to fish and hunt, I got some prices for a replacement cooler and if I install it myself, the cost is 200$ can.
