- the contact said that the cap and rotor that goes to the spark plug had been replaced, because of a recall. The contact said that the parts went bad a year later. He took the truck back to the dealer (pearson Buick GMC) and they replace the parts again, but they charged him $100 for his warranty use. The contact said that since the parts are still under recall why did they charge him for this warranty use? the contact has repair orders for all the work.

Consumer had an eight cylinder vehicle that operated as if it was 4 cylinders. Vehicle shook/hesitated and lost power. Consumer tried to accelerate on the highway but vehicle had no power. Vehicle had been in the repair shop 5 times for the same problem, and it kept happening. Consumer was told by mechanic that it was the fuel injection system, but mechanic could not resolve the problem.

Fuel was not flowing freely through the fuel lines to the engine. This is causing vehicle to function poorly. Dealership replaced the distributor and the fuel tank, but the cause of the blockage was undetermined.
