The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact noticed an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The dealer (sutliff Chevrolet, 1251 paxton St, harrisburg, pa) was contacted, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The vehicle was returned to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there were cracks in the radiator and the thermostat that needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and offered to cover 70% of the repair cost. The failure mileage was approximately 20,259.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer (mauer Chevrolet, 1055 mn-110, inver grove heights, mn, 55077) because the air conditioner was blowing out room temperate air. The dealer diagnosed that the air conditioner condenser was fractured, causing a refrigerant leak. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer stated that the condenser was covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. However, due to the refrigerant leak, they would not cover it under the emissions warranty. The manufacturer representative stated that they would escalate the case, but no case number was provided. The manufacturer stated that they would return the call within forty-eight business hours. The failure mileage was approximately 79,038.

I own a 2014 Chevy Silverado. VIN: [xxx]. the ac stopped cooling. One day it was ice cold. The next day it blew hot air. I talked to my dealer and they say that it's a know issue and that GM issued a tsb for repair guidelines but have yet to issue a recall. They say the repair is between $1000 and $1800. They said I could get a refund if a recall is issued later on. They said they would look up the tsb number for me, but have not yet to given it to me. Looking at multiple forums I see many owners have the same issues. Several say they got the issue repaired and their paperwork stated "performed pit5337". most threads mention that this is a known mfg flaw with the hose bracket for this model. The flaw allows the hose fitting to crack over time. It appears that GM includes a support bracket with the new hose as part of the repair. That replacement bracket is GM23264893. I have an appointment with my dealer to have my vehicle checked to confirm that my issue is caused by this flaw. The did say that they have had 8 vehicles in for this repair. The dealer is ray Chevrolet in foxlake, il. 847-537-3300. Once I saw how many hits I got on my google search for this issue, I was shocked that there is still no recall. Please help. Thanks, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I was traveling up an incline when vehicle started jumping. Engine light came on, as well as stability or skid control and when turning on turn signal the wipers came on. Did not feel safe but drove to nearest dealership with vehicle jumping and missing out, about 4 blocks. Diagnoses was faulty fuel injector at 4577 miles on vehicle. After picking up vehicle when repair was done it missed out again but no engine light. Dealership could not duplicate the problem. Hope this isn't going to be ongoing issue.

After vehicle sits in hot sunlight for extended period of time, and ac is ran-- there is a loud "popping noise" from the center area of the dash. The sound is very similar to a rock or object hitting the windshield. This issue has continued and recently took vehicle in for other recall issue and had them check this. The service adviser first told me they duplicated the issue and would have to dismantled the dash for further diagnostics. The vehicle was in the shop for over a week, and they told me the issue seemed corrected. The completed service ticket indicates problem could not be duplicated or determined. The day I drove home from the shop the vehicle made this same noise three times. I will be taking vehicle to different GM dealer for follow up.

When driving at highway speeds between 72 mph +, the vehicle will vibrate very badly to the point where you can not drive so fast. It comes and goes and when it comes back sometimes even at reduced speeds of 65mph the vehicle still vibrates very bad. I have informed GM of my issue and my local dealership and they choose not to do anything. Really, because they don't know what it is. The vibration is so bad that it can numb your body by the end of your drive or distract you enough to crash. I drive up to 9 hours with my vehicle for work and it is very uncomfortable. I am filing this complaint to see if I can get help to stop this issue from happening. A lot of people are also having this problem and from my understanding, GM is ignoring them as well.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that black smoke was being emitted from the exhaust pipe. The vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 14V007000 (engine and engine cooling) however, the failure would still occur when the vehicle had been idle for long periods of time. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing but the dealer stated that unless the warning light was illuminated, they were unable to diagnose the vehicle. The manufacture was contacted and stated that since the occurrence was normal for a newer vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1000. The current mileage was 33,000.
