Silverado 1500

  • 71,200 miles
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign, the rear window on the driver's side popped and shattered. Greg young Chevrolet (2020 w 20th St S, newton, ia 50208, (641) 787-9990) stated that since the vehicle did not have a full window, it was not included in the customer satisfaction program. The window was a sliding glass window and not a full window. The manufacturer kept referring the contact back to the dealer and stated that the sliding window was not as structurally sound as a full window; therefore, it was not covered. The window was not repaired and the contact felt that the manufacturer should cover the repairs. The contact found numerous complaints online regarding the same failure. The failure mileage was 71,200. The VIN was unknown.
