I was just at airbag recall.com and it tells me only the passigner airbag is to be replaced because of the propellant will degrade over time and could rupture and cause body harm and even fatal injury. So why does not the drivers airbag need to be changed as well? I first received recall information in the mail pertaining to the airbags on my vehicle at the end of 2017. Around the same time the service airbag light on my dashboard appeared and has remained displayed since. I have periodically checked whether a remedy to the recall has been established, but to date there has not been one. I am now seeing commercials for attorney services regarding injuries due to defective airbags in vehicles in my make, model, and year. Seeing as my service airbag light is already lit up, I would like to avoid an injury to myself or a passenger in my vehicle.
