The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that while parked, she observed multiple cracks on the dashboard near the steering column and the passenger air bag area. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the dashboard needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.
