Speedometer and tachometer failure. Speedometer needle swings clockwise and goes past 120 mph - even when vehicle is stationary. Unable to determine vehicle's speed. Very unsafe situation. Tachometer is inaccurate. Cannot determine if or when engine is being over-revved. This could lead to engine disintegration. Both of the above has occured in a vehicle that is less than one year old. Several delaerships advising this is getting to be a common occurance.

While driving at approximately 60 mph vehicle lost power, and then it shut down, causing the vehicle to lose brakes, and power steering. Dashboard got completely blank. Owner took the vehicle to the dealer and contacted the manufacturer. Vehicle is currently out of warranty.

Tailgate problem, drivers seat failure, cruise control failure, declining brake effectiveness, water leaking in drivers door, electrical failure in radio, power mirrors. Owner returned truck to bank for vol.repo.feeling this truck was becoming more unsafe to drive, this among other circumstances.

When driving vehicle lost power and everything shut down. There were no brakes or steering, and the dashboard was completely black. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer, and was told that if this happened again he would have to tow it back to the dealer.

While driving, the service brake light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and the mechanic determined that computer has to be reset by the manufacturer. At this time the software had not been approved by the epa. The vehicle was operating as designed. The consumer was unsure if the system was working properly.
