On 4 Sept this happened first. Then again on 12 Sept I turned my vehicle on and the check engine light started flashing. I waited for a minute (calling my husband because I didn’t want to drive it) and the light turned off. I called the dealership and was advised to try to get it to the dealership. I put the car from park to reverse and it lunged forward, and again when I put it in drive. As I accelerated, my RPMS were off the chart at 30 MPH.
I had to drive 30 miles an hour on a main highway for 30 miles before I could get to the dealership (they didn’t want me to turn the car off) The dealership had it one day and had replaced a valve that caused it to burn oil quickly (that's the first symptom a few weeks ago), then again last week when the car did the same thing and the dealership said they fixed it. This time while getting to the dealership I was almost struck by a Semi Truck because I couldn’t get out of the way fast enough.

Every month, almost to the day, the check engine light keeps coming on. No error code, had diagnostics done at Pep Boys and Maita Chevrolet, nothing comes up. Get oil changes each time because I can't think of what else could be wrong. It is now May 27, 2017 and it's happened again.
