Spark LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 46,000 miles

The car has had 8 recalls poor transmission never worked after the transmission module recalled , Hvac system replaced ,now engine module bad, cylinders missing. Dealer offered to clean cylinders and valves I stated that would not help. I then turned to GM itself for assistance. GM is paying for a portion of that uncovered procedure. Then the mechanics got in their and found I was right and they are now tearing the engine apart. They have had it over a month replacing camshaft etc. Bad car Lemon don't buy it. Korean transmission poor design, engine is Japanese poor design. Poor acceleration especially freeway.

Spark LS 1.3L 3 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 890 miles

I was driving my Chevy Spark it is a brand new car that I purchased about 300 miles away; it is a great car until the 6th day that I own it I hear a noise from engine and loss of engine power. I had to call roadside assistance Chevy provided me a loaner vehicle which is nice, but the engine has to be replaced. I do not know how long that will take my brand new car is already out of service is scary for my first Chevy vehicle.

I will keep you all posted on what happens and when I can get my engine replaced in my brand new car not even a week old. This car was just driven to work and home I can not understand why this would of happened to my vehicle.
