Complaint regarding front brake rotor separation on 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe. The rotors separated under normal braking conditions. The consumer contacted the manufacturer who indicated that the separation occured due to age and/or wear. The rotor separated at the steel hub section attached to the cast iron section and blew apart.
