I bought the vehicle new. I had a brake problem that GM fixed but they refuse to fix the radio. I am told it will cost about $1000 to replace the radio. It is annoying to be driving and have the radio start switching stations with no rhyme or reason. It looks like the display of a slot machine spinning. When I try to minimize the display it does not respond. The dealer is not sympathetic at all. I have a 1997 Mercury with the original radio and never had a problem.

Radio reception is terrible. Even when HD radio is turned off, it bounces back and forth making it almost unbearable. I will take the factory unit out and put aftermarket radio in a brand new Tahoe.

Radio started blacking out 30 days after purchasing my truck. While experiencing the blackouts my radio still plays, however; I couldn't control the radio. Because the service department couldn't duplicate the issue it was nothing that could be done. I finally was able to video the issue one day and the blackout lasted 30 minutes. After the 3rd time of complaining about the issue a bulletin had surfaced from GM to reset the radio which was completed on 6/23/15. The problem started back up in the month of August 2015. Again they can't duplicate the issue and supposedly there's an issue with my radio and OnStar (which I don't have the service). So basically I have to ride with a jacked up radio until GM and OnStar comes up with a solution. Horrible customer service to purchase a brand new vehicle and be placed on hold until they come up with a solution, shortly it'll 1 yr that I've been dealing with this issue.
