Tahoe LT 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,657 miles

Just purchased this lovely 2015 Tahoe LT on Tuesday. The rear wiper motor did not work so I had to bring in to dealership to have replace at no cost. AutoNation claims they have a 5 day money back guarantee, so I was in and out of the dealership. I also mentioned a vibration and the salesperson tells me to just drive it a few days as we could not notice driving on test drive. However, prior to turning back into dealership it vibrates again.

Long story short, yesterday, the vehicle completely loses power and engine shuts off in the middle of a main street. Turn off and on again, continued driving to a local Home Depot. Pulling out into a mayor interception, it stalls and dies again. Terrified to take on highway to have dealer look at it, so I am going to take the vehicle to a local Chevy dealership to have service. Will email sales person and manager to make sure I have a nice paper trail. The vehicle is super clean and nice but with this type of electrical problems wont do me any good.

Tahoe LTZ 5.3L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

Very noticeable engine vibration when stopped and foot on the brake. Can be felt by passengers. Dealer has attempted to fix on 3 occasions with no success. Filed a complaint with GM and all they say is that vibration is "within the normal limits" of vibration so nothing can be done.I have never had a car do this!

When sitting at a light or stop sign your car feels like it wants to cut off/stall. I brought this issue up to the dealership after 30 days of purchasing my vehicle and nothing was resolved. I kept bring it to their attention took 4 attempts before they were able to advise me what the issue really was. Basically the engine sits near the frame of the truck causing the vibration which is the engine I was feeling the vibration from. Some type of brackets/motor mounts had to be installed to stop the issue.
