Tahoe LS 5.7L

Went to Chevy Turnersville to look at a Tahoe, it had the certified sticker on the window, and I come to find out they expressed it wasn't certified?? They gave us the carfax dated the same day and no recalls, 3 months later a recall came up that was put out in September of 2018?? We found that out later. Purchased the chevy Tahoe in 2019, got the extended platinum warranty, dealer at Chevy Turnersville in NJ gave me the gm brochure for the platinum warranty, I thought that was our warranty?

Signed the paperwork for purchase and it read United auto care as the warranty company, come to find out that's not it either, it is Assurant and they will not cover the blinking light, which is terribly distracting at night. Chevy Dealer we took the car to to fix said there was a recall on it but our vehicle is out of date. Will be calling GM about it?? I wonder if I have a shot at getting reimbursed??

I had an oil change done on my truck back in 2017. Shortly after that. Every time I brake and put my signs on, you get this really annoying flash, that's pretty blinding to my rear passengers once it's dark. It's definitely a pain in the ass now that I'm driving around on a hot summer night after it rained here in Milwaukee. I have no cold air, truck is leaking from the inside so I have some tape on the outside to hold off more water from getting it. My 2015 Chevy Tahoe looks really nice with that. I can't afford any fixes at this time and so I am just struggling to hold my composure every time I talk about my truck that everyone compliments.

Dome lights "FLASH" on like a flash bulb from a camera when I step on the brakes or use my left turn indicator. Extremely dangerous at night, but Chevy doesn't seem to care. GM has put out a bulletin on this problem, but in my situation want to charge me $185.00 to diagnose the problem. Diagnose the problem that GM knows about but will not repair?????

I have had 10 GM vehicles since 1964, but this will be my last.

Thanks GM for taking care of a loyal customer 😡

2015 Tahoe, dome light flickers when stepping on brake. Taking it in to find out repair cost and will update.

Update from Oct 27, 2018: The cost of repair was $510. They replaced the second row dome light assembly with a new circuit board.

Interior lights flash when stepping on brake or putting on left turn signal. Replaced bulbs on back left taillight...issue still occurs. Someone said it may be the computer...don't know if I will spend the money to find out. Really annoying though. Any other resolutions out there that worked?

Update from Sep 26, 2018: The issue turned out to be the interior front dome light assembly. There are 2 in the front overhead console and mine happened to be the passenger side assembly (part number 23396155). The dealer wanted $1500 to look at the issue and "diagnose" what it was...the part is less than $100 in most places but hard to find as many say it has been discontinued.
