Trailblazer LS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

I own a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer. While driving 25 mph, the contact heard a bumping noise when driving over an uneven surface. The dealer stated that the sway bar links, front end links, and the front stabilizer shaft were defective. The dealer repaired the vehicle. Approximately one year later, the failure reoccurred. The dealer stated that the sway bar links, front end links, and the front stabilizer shaft were defective again. The dealer repaired the vehicle. A year and a half later, the failure recurred with the same results.

This is a continuing problem that I have repaired 3 times in the last 3 years. this has to be a defect in Trailblazers. As I hear the sound from just about every Trailblazer I have seen on the roads. Next, the front ends will start causing crashes due to this problem.

Trailblazer LS 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,000 miles

I've noticed that there is an absence of greasable ball joints under the front end of my wife's 03 trailblazer. Could this be the culprit behind the popping and creaking noise we experience when turning or driving on rougher than smooth asphalt roads? Anyone else have this same problem?
