Trailblazer LS 4.2L

I WAS IN A ACCIDENT. I WAS STOPPED AND HAD LEFT TURN SIGNAL ON TO TURN, WAS AT A DEAD STOP AND GOT REAR ENDED AT 55 + MPH. THE TWO FRONT SEATS BROKE AND THE REAR WAS TOTALLY SMASHED AND NO AIR BAGS WENT OFF. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING THEY SHOULD HAVE WENT OFF. SO NOT HAPPY.

We hit a guard rail went air born and hit trees. The airbags never deployed and if we wouldn't have had our seat belts on we would have went through the windshield. My legs hit the dash and the fabric from my clothing was embedded in the dash. Both me and the driver have fluid in our legs due to the impact. I was unable to walk for a few days afterwards and still going through therapy.

Five years ago, April 22, 2011, my daughter and friend were both killed when her 2004 Trailblazer spun out on a slick road and hit a tree. No airbags deployed. The car was totaled and was sent to junkyard, I think. Our two families are still mourning this tragedy and recently I have read complaints about Trailblazer airbags that never opened. I sincerely believe these young people may have survived with working airbags. Do we have any recourse in this deadly and sad accident?

Trailblazer LS V6

In accident on January 6,2015. Lost control of SUV on iced winter roads. Slid into back of Box truck. Smashed face broken nose in two places, several cuts on face, eyelid cuts required stitches, right foot requires reconstructive surgery. I wonder if someone needs to die before something is done.

Trailblazer V6 4 Wheel Drive

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,357 miles

On Oct 24th/2013 a day that will stick with me until my final resting day...which could had easily been then.

I was alone, Thank God..I veered out of the way of on coming car and lost control. After flipping over 2-3 times I came crashing head on into a tree. After leaving the hospital with a fractured sternum ,cuts and bruises and swollen knee I played the accident over in my head, realizing the airbags never deployed. I have never been in an accident before but always heard that the airbags themselves can hurt you.

Well I'll never know if it's true.So Chevy Trailblazer I'm coming after you....DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VEHICLE!!!!!!!
