problem #2

Sep 172004

Trailblazer 4WD 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,800 miles
The check engine light and the reduced engine power light came on the first time and the truck had no acceleration. There was a code recorded when service was performed and PCM was reprogrammed. The next 3 times the check engine light came on and the truck would only accelerate if the RPM's reved up to 2, then the truck would move very slowly. The problem they found this time was a faulty ingition switch (2 times) a program upgrade of the motherboard of the truck, and the tork converter clutch module. Windshield wiper blades stopped working during a snow/rain storm.
