overheating overheating

My wife, I have purchased a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer on the 28th of February, AS IS. Not even a week, the check engine light came on. I took the SUV to Autozone. They gave me a print out showing what was wrong. I call the place that my wife and I got the SUV. I was told to bring the SUV there. He stated that what was stated on the print out was done, but that was only the one thing out of four. The replaced part was, is the coolant sensor. That was suppose to be fixed but the SUV has been getting hot, overheating but the heat came on. The fan that is in front of the water pump is lose, the nuts are not tight. My wife was told that there nothing that can be done. One reason is that you have the SUV over 90 days, it's on you to get fixed but the SUV has not been with us 90 days because we bought it on the 28th of February and May 28th will be 90 days.
