My wife and I bought 2010 Chevy Traverse at Bobby Prince Chevy on 23 May 2014. During our signing process my wife asked if all the recalls had been taken car of on the vehicle. The person helping us with signing said he couldn't be sure if they were taken care of and that WE had to get with the service Dept to find out. He said the only recalls that had really been issued were for a seatbelt and an airbag. He said we could let the service Dept know we were concerned about the recalls and they would check and if the parts weren't in they would let call us and let us know they were in. As soon as we completed the signing we were stopped by Kip Keen whom informed us that they could not legally allow us to take the vehicle because the recalls on the car were not repaired. Had we known the recalls parts weren't repaired and that we wouldn't be able to drive the car that day we would have NEVER signed.

Very suspicious that just two minutes after signing the finance manger comes in and states, "Oh, forgot there is a recall"?? We were given a vehicle to drive in the meantime, but it doesn't even accommodate our large family of six which was the whole reasoning behind buying the seven passenger Chevy Traverse. We were told the car would be ready on 27 May 2014,Tuesday. Tuesday came around and I heard nothing. I called on Wednesday and talked to Kip Keen. He said the parts were still not in, but it the car would be ready by Friday. Friday came and I heard nothing. I called and asked to speak to the manager on and about 30 May 2014. The next day the assistant manager for Bobby Prince called me and apologized and said the parts would be in the following day and if the parts did not come in and it came time to make the first payment on the vehicle the dealership would pay my first car payment.

Neither to say I feel GMC is really setting a bad example for business and how they are treating my family and I, especially seeing I am a disable Veteran and there seems to be no regard for providing my family a solution. The vehicle they gave up is a four cylinder that only sits four to five (crammed). We purchased a V6 that seats 7-8 for a reason! Just very disappointed and thinking I should retain a lawyer to pursue legal action and get out of this purchase. Even social media and news on this poor example of customer service from GMC and their lack of concern for a disabled Veteran and his family! Here it is14 June 2014 and nothing about the vehicle we purchased and about to make our first payment for a vehicle we do not even have...!

I am outraged that this is the type of customer service I am receiving from Chevy and I want out of the contract. I no longer want anything to do with Chevy or GMC. I hope to hear back from someone other than the local Prince of Albany staff, they are obviously giving me the run around. What a Fathers Day gift! Thanks....Prince Chevrolet of Albany, 2701 Ledo Road, Albany, GA 31707
