Uplander LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

Clunking, bouncing, unstable feeling. It feels like the axle is going to roll out from under the van:-( We have been to two mechanics that have been unable to diagnose the problem. Meanwhile I'm driving a carnival ride. I wish I could find out the problem and the fix!

Uplander LS V6

I purchased this uplander 2.7 years ago. I had major problems with the front end i.e., wheel hubs, brakes, rotors, struts, alignment and had to purchase tires all around. My cup holder won't come out and there's no way to retreive it. My glove box just fell open and there was no way to fix that either. How does the consumer fix these things? I've read the manual and there's nothing stated to repair them. I also had to replace brakes, rotors and shocks in the rear. I don't travel in the van for fear of something falling off of it. I think that is far too much of a repair bill for a fairly new van. It had 14,000 miles on it when I purchased it, thought it was just like new. I would love to replace it for something else! Now there is a rattling sound when driving over unlevel area.

Uplander LS EXT V6

There is a very load rattle under the vehicle every time it hits a bump. Out of warranty. About to file arbitration to get GM to take it back. Hate it more every day.
