GM should step up to the plate - this is total BS! After the lack of support we got, we'll be buying Japaneses from now on...

Venture

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,000 miles

1998 Chevy Venture needed complete intake gasket job at 62000 miles costing 1200, reason being, cheap gaskets, plus this is a known GM problem. GM is being sued in Canada, but nothing in the US. Disgraceful. Now, the head gasket is blown, with an estimated $2000 repair job. This is a known defect in this car.
