Air bag light stays on. Replaced driver seat with no change. Chevy dealership advised the issue now is the passenger seat sensors and quoted me $1000 to fix. They also told me there is only one part available in the usa and they dont know if the holder will sell it. This puts my car and passengers in danger if there is an accident. Chevy needs to address/fix this.

Cost to repair $1200+ reviewed many online forums and posts returning same issue and cost for repair for Chevrolet vehicles in same model and platform range (Malibu, Impala, Volt, Cruze).

The vehicle was repaired however, the air bag warning light became illuminated. The dealer was contacted however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.
