Volt 5 DR HB Premier 1.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,550 miles

The car lost propulsion on turning right after the traffic light turned green. I was able to roll to the curb and restart the engine. The day before, my brother was driving it on the freeway and felt significant bumping. I asked if it could have been the road conditions and he said no. He said there is something wrong with this car. After reading about other owners of Volt's experiencing loss of propulsion while driving, I became very concerned and had the car towed to our Chevy service center. They have had the car for over a week and can find no error messages on the computer and they have driven it many miles. They say that they can't duplicate the reported problems. I am in touch with GM and they have all the documentation. There was a service recall last Feb. for loss of propulsion on all 2017 Volts and my car was brought in and supposedly fixed.
