Driving on highway when driver side seat head rest deployed and smached me hard on back of my head, almost caused an accident on freeway by me swerving into next lane without caution. No car accident. No one was hurt other than me the driver of this vehicle cause of the head rest that deployed on me while driving on freeway. There's a recall on this type of vehicle but not the same year as mine. Why not? Don't understand.

On Jan 3rd 2019 I had an accident (front impact) and the front airbags deployed - but the biggest problem is - the airbags did not even come close to my face -- it was 10 inches away from my face and immediately defused. I was really appalled and I strongly believe its a defective airbag and it was no way saving my life. Both airbags in the front was the same way. I need help from nhsta to investigate the car and identify if indeed its a defective airbag so we can work with the manaufacturer

Chrysler recall S61 for occupant restraint controller. I was notified that the parts were finally available to complete the recall but after more than one month the work has yet to be scheduled. I have called all of the local dealerships and no parts are available. I had an appointment with a local dealership that they cancelled at the last minute since the parts never came in. I have called Chrysler several times and they are not able to give me a date as to when parts are to be released. I received a letter from Chrysler in July indicating parts were available and to schedule the work but that is not true. Chrysler was to check on parts and notify me this week but they did not do so. I have also tried to find out from the dealership when parts will be ready but they sya it is up to Chrysler. All the time Chrysler says this is a dangerous situation but seems not too interested to do anything about it. Updated 10/23/2017
