When the vehicle was taken to safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat of winchester (1659 berryville pike, winchester, va 22603, (540) 667-5532) for inspection, the contact was informed that the vehicle was contaminated with sludge in the system. Also, the defroster was inoperable, and the heater core, engine oil, coolant, and radiator cap needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and provided a case number. The failure mileage was 108,210.

The contact was uncertain if the manufacturer would be able to provide a solution to the dealer to remedy the failure. The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the low beam lights were defective. The low beam would not illuminate properly and appeared as a shadow. The contact had to use the high beams to illuminate the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer numerous times where the dealer adjusted the low beam, but the failure was not corrected. The dealer stated that they were unable to correct the failure because it was how the low beam lights were designed. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that they would contact the dealer to explain how to correct the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 3 and the current mileage was 4, 500.
