This really is a follow up. The fuel pump went bad. But it has been going bad for months. Total cost is insane for a car that is only 3 yrs old, spent $750.00 at a Chrysler Dealer. I see fuel pump issues and recalls on many many Chryslers. But I also see that Chrysler is getting away with a lot. I would like to tell Chrysler to stick their cars and I may have to because this has created a mess. Two jobs I can't get to, car payment over due (ha,ha, but Chrysler will get the money anyway...irony?) And over a week with no car.

Update from Mar 18, 2015: Well car is out of shop.Fuel pump changed. They called me to tell me that and to tell me that the spark plugs were changed at no charge because the tech changed them without checking first? $642.12 plus the tow $103.00 and a week with no car. The original bill included the tow which had already been paid for. We had also asked that the fuel pump be put aside for us and it was not. Had to send another Tech to find it. Going to have it checked out. Also having the cars system checked by a friend who is a mechanic. This is crazy. Car has stalled in traffic, brake light has been coming on and brakes were checked awhile back and were fine. Driver window would not open or close last year. And when you look at a (several) mechanics and tell them what you drive and they laugh. Instills confidence. And although it wasn't noticed mostly because the car is driven mainly during day light hours for some reason the inside lights are brighter.
