One of my controllers / key fobs only worked about 10 feet away. I did replace the battery in the remote, which had no affect on the problem. When the car was getting it's oil changed I told the dealer about it. They said there was a tech bulletin out on this problem. The solution was to reprogram the BCM. Now both remotes work at the same distance however I think the other remote now doesn't work as far as it did.
