problem #2

300 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 71,300 miles

While driving my ABS light came on. This is the second ABS light incident (first May-15). I was out of town so I decided to address later. The car started to lose power and a check transmission light then illuminated. I had to pull off to check. The transmission would not shift out of drive and the engine would not stop. Air Cond quit cooling. Had to sit with foot on brake till tow truck arrived. Towed to dealership.

They had not seen these symptoms before. Changed left rear wheel speed sensor (right rear had been previously replaced). Less than 500 mi driven and the ABS light came on again. Air conditioner has not worked properly since. I believe it must have something to do with the car's computer. I've read two other complaints in this forum that sound very much like this problem. I plan to take it to the dealer again suggesting they look at more than the wheel sensors.

On 12/24/2015 my nephews and myself were riding in Cartersville ga. I made a right turn to gain access to the interstate entrance and my entire brake system locked up on me. Causing my car to spin out of control and do a complete 540 into oncoming traffic. The car stopped 3 feet short of the guard rail on side of the road. On December 28 I took the car to Robert Loehr Chrysler to have the recall issue fixed. They claim to have repaired the issues but the ABS light, the traction light and the Tire pressure lights are still on. These are all issues that arise out of the recall for the alternator diodes am I correct? Why weren't these issues resolved and why are these vehicles so dangerous?
