I was driving & stopped at sign. When I went to pull out the engine died & the gear jumped to neutral, I was in the middle of the road. Good thing there was no traffic at the time. I tried to start it & it started finally, I put on the gas & it died again & jumped to neutral again. I finally did this till I got turned off the road. A lady helped me push it out of the road into a factory lot. I called Ilderton & they said bring it to them. The gas poured out the full tank of gas right there. The factory needed me to move the car but when they opened the door & smelled the gas & saw the puddle under it they were afraid to try to start it.

I called a tow truck & they came & put it on the rollback truck & the rest of the gas poured out. They took it to Ilderton. I finally got to ilderton after getting a ride there & the first time the mechanic talked to me was he asked if I had run over anything, I told him no & he said he had not even looked at it yet. I told him I bought the car to have something dependable so I would not get stranded, my husband is 78 & in a wheelchair & cannot move his left side at ALL. This could have been a disaster if it had caught fire, there was no way I could have gotten him out. The mechanic was very rude. I didn't do anything wrong. I could not get them to give me a rental because they said they didn't have one until Monday.

I came home without a rental & called Chrysler & told them the whole thing. The case # with them is 25195766. I am still terrified that it will do this again. They installed part# 4584557AD; tube: fuel supply R&R fuel line to fuel rail. this was covered under warranty. They did not even offer to refuel. When I picked it up it was only a tick mark from Empty. These people are all smiles & grins until they sell you a car & after that they don't have any concern for you. They made me feel like it was my fault. I discussed all this with Chrysler & they listened but they didn't really care. This is the last time I will ever buy a Chrysler.
