In July we noticed a ticking noise in engine. Took to mechanic, they changed oil and said it was "gritty" and black after just 1,000 miles since prior change. (Had to problems prior) He added Lucas oil treatment to help. Going to look again in 1,000 miles.

Aspen Limited V6

I took my car to the meadow chryler dodge for a ticking noise in the engine. I know that noise because I had a lifter ticking before. I told them that I bought an warranty from Bankston and they told me it will take a while before this will be solve. So I left my car and they called the warranty people to come look at the problem. Two days later they came out and said they have after the market tires on the car: now what they have to do with the engine I am not sure. They said YES they hear the ticking and it need to be broken down to the point of failure , yet this is a call the customer has to make just in case it is not covered under warranty. Well I knew that the lifters were ticking- because a month earlier the car had to get a water pump. So I authorize the breakdown which is 6,500 . Three days later they called the warranty people again to come look- the pistol is out of speck causing the clapping on the wall yet the warranty people want to say that is NORMAL WEAR ON A ENGINE. Two service rep's say no it is not for and 08 CHRYSLER WITH LESS THAN 70000 MILES. We went back and forth for a solid month with no results. In the meantime I am without a car because they would not cover the rental which was over 500.00 and I could no longer afford it. So I am out of all this money and was paying a warranty of 150.00 a month just in case something happened to my car. I have talked and written so many people with no results. I hope and pray this will fall on ears and heart of people at chrysler that cares about their customer. My email address is debora.english@fwisd.org. This is just wrong and I an a victim of representation without a voice .I really want the CEO of chrysler to contact me I am sure they have this information I mailed a copy of my complaint to everyone I knew my next step is to get the radio station involved and reach a settlement. Anyone knows a lawyer that will take my case It is just wrong and GOD is looking and taking it all in. These big corporation is ripping the common people off and especially us woman.
