I purchased 4 new douglas extra-trak II tires at walmart and within only a few months was having major "alignment" type issues. I thought maybe the tires needed to be balanced and rotated and have the pressure checked. Walmart tech had one of my tires that was a few lbs low and it blew out after he put it back up to appropriate levels. Blow out was out the side and not visible from the outside of the tire. Other side bulges were found on the other tires. Since the tires had been driven, walmart only gave me a "discount" on replacing the one that blew out - the others were my problem according to them. These tires are obviously defective and not safe.

The contact owns a 2002 Chrysler PT CRUISER. The vehicle has cooper tires, size AT205/55/R16 (na). While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle vibrated moderately and the front driver's side tire blew out. The vehicle was towed to a local rest stop and the tire was replaced. The manufacturer stated that the dot number was excluded from NHTSA campaign id number 08T029000 (tires:tread/belt). The cause of the failure has not yet been determined. The failure and current mileages were 20,000.

Was driving along and the transmission went out at about $35,598 miles. The brakes make a god awful noise I have had them checked they say nothing is wrong but I don't believe them the brain box went out the same time as the tranmission. The dashboard on top has cracked for no reason the car is garage kept it pulls to the right for no reason they say and it has started making rattling noises from the passenger side the trunk lid shocks are given out and the car just turned to $40,000 miles I think they make them to break at a certain tine and no one will do anything about theses problems I think my next car might be a Toyota at least they don't fall apart so easy because I baby this car like its the only one I will ever own if Chrysler wanted to do the right thing they would take this lemon back and give me a new one free of charge and I would do the Chrysler adversement all over it for them as long as it looks good. Because I have no money for another new automobile have a family to take care of and im not allowed to work anymore this would be a great thin tanks for listening.

Since day one have had a "wobble" in front end. Steering wheel moves back and forth. Feel vibration through floor board. This at 35-40 mph. No "wobble" or vibrations at higher speeds. Tires rotated and front end balanced three times. No help. Dodge dealer no help. They said it was the Goodyear tires and to replace them with Michelin. Will be looking into front axle or driveline problems next.
