Egr valve problem, RPM too high when idled, feel like car slows down on own when driving on highway. Engine light on with P0507 code: Idle air control system RPM higher than expected and P1861 fuel line disconnected

While going down the highway at 70mph to pick up my son from school the vehicle stopped accelerating (just after putting a half a tank of gas in) and sputtered a bit like it was running out of gas. It would not start back up again and after my husband inspected it and tested the fuel system, says it is not getting fuel to the motor! if I weren't driving where I was and able to pull off on the side of the road I could have killed someone else (like my small child or someone else) or been killed myself. Very scary and awful!

A similar incident has occurred on my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica as stated below. "on certain passenger vehicles, the fuel pump module and the power train control module (PCM) software may allow the engine to stall under certain operating conditions." The manufacture is stating that because of my vehicle's VIN# it wasn't part of this recall# F44. It is clear to me that the same conditions that have happen to the vehicles part of recall# F44 should pertain to any vehicle built prior to the dates associated with this recall Chrysler is recognizing for repairs. All Pacificas should be under the #F44 recall notice, not just a certain portion. I've had to replace the exact same items listed as a necessary repair to correct the problem. As like recall# F44, I to had to replace the fuel pump modules, for the left and right side. However, the difference is it was out of my own pocket for these repairs. All this happened to me too..... and I agree with this person..... so I am re-posting it... the fuel gauge started to mess up telling me it was empty and it was not. It would go all over the place form 3/4 to empty.this went on for two days then I was going down the road at 65mph and it sputtered and I pulled over and it was not running and would not start back up. The guy replaced both fuel pumps because of this now I have to pay for this out of my pocket. I was broke down far form my house and any Chrysler dealer, so I had no choose but have it done so I could get back on the road. From what I have read this has happened to many people. Your help would greatly be appreciated...... [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

There are multiple occurrence but the start of the problem was 1 week after I purchased the car. 5/6/14 I replaced the tires left front axle along with the front struts and strut mounts, check engine light on came out for emissions system small leak changed the gas cap. Fine till June then I had to replace everything over again check engine light on again same code P0455 changed purge solenoid, along with the right axle. Fine again till August by this time check engine light is back on now changed the nvld pump plus replaced everything over again struts, strut mounts, along with the rack N pinion, front lower control arms both sides, outter tie rods. Once again fine then October rolls around I take it back in because it acting weird steering wise plus the check engine light is on again same code P0455 now I change out the canister, along with everything over again but the axles they are still good. Now November rolls around and everything is at it again check engine light is on P0455 they want to replace the fuel lines now. Also the 4 motor mounts are broke again my engine is almost ready to fall out. Now they are finally telling me after $3400 that this is all caused by the rust and corrosion on the undercarriage. My subframe and frame have holes in it, the rust is actually making it's was inside my car now. I went to fix a flat tire and when I used the emergency jack I pumped it 1/4 of the way up and boom it went right thru the frame. My alignment keeps throwing it self off because it can't hold the front suspension in place. The strut mount housing looks like another few bumps and it will go threw. Accident: 1st wk Nov '14 I was driving down the free-way luckily doing 45mph and I went to steer my car to the right and it kept going straight and scraped the K-rail. Mechanic said the the bolts he put back into the sub-frame keep falling out because of the rust.

When I bought it I drove it 20 feet to gas station. The gas tank said I had half a tank of gas. Once I was done I turned the car back on and it said I had no gas! I called the guy who sold it to me and he said it just takes time for it to reregister that I filled it up so I drove it back to him to show him what I was talking about when he got there it said I had half a tank and he told me to drive it home I would be fine! well on the way home it said I had 20 mile till empty but the last thing it showed on gas tank was that I still was at half take so I filled it up again. I took the car to my brothers which is 35 miles from fargo to have him see if he could fix the pumps but he couldn't so I got back on interstate goin 75 mph to go home and the gas light flickered and the car went from 75 to 0 in like 2 seconds. Resulting in myself bashing my head on steering wheel and no air bags went off either! my husband came to get me and brought gas cans to get me enough gas to make it to a gas station! it took us 58 min exactly to fill the tank completely full so I could make it back home. So the next day I called back and they eventually had me take it to lundes in fargo to fix the gas tank which took 1 month almost 2, so when I got it back multiple times in between that time it was still happening! finally they fix it except the fact that a year later it's happening all over again! which was 5 days ago on my way to jamestown with my children in the car! I have called many of places and nobody knows how to fix it. If I go back to lundes they said they had no idea why it would happen again! and how long it would take them to figure it out! it would have happened earlier if I actually drove the car more but ever since the accident when I drive that car I can't stop checking how full the tank is! something needs to be done before someone gets into a serious accident with that car!
