Trunk springs for trunk lid no longer work. Have to hold trunk open manually. Springs are no longer available because of changes Chrysler has made so I have to pay to have springs rewelded. Trunk lid has hit me in head on occasion.why should I pay for rewelding because of your changes on something so simple

Trunk lid /assembly has worn out, and will not remain open. Could come down on an individual, causing injury. The manufacturer changed the trunk lid design possibly due to defective part and should be on recall.
