problem #4

Dec 022003

(reported on)

Sebring 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • miles
The brake pads would stick to the rotors causing the pads to wear out prematurely. The brake pads have been replaced approximately, every 5,000 miles and the rotors have been replaced three times. The brake pads wore on one side and not the other. When the brakes were applied on the highway they would go sideways. The consumer also had a concern about an "M 1999, " in which the engine would smoke while in motion on the highway. Oil leaked out from the top of the engine due to faulty parts. The engine was rebuilt by the dealer.
