problem #2

Sebring LXI 2.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 225,000 miles

Ever since getting this car there have been multiple things needed replacing. Seems the ball joints go out very often. Considering that this engine has an internal water pump that was very costly and time consuming to have replaced. The oil light comes on and stay on most of the time. Frequent maintenance is done on the car especially oil changes with high mileage oil and the car has a very hard time starting. Have had the valve pan head replaced but the car still leaks oil and now the engine is making a knocking sound. Have taken it to a garage and they said that the engine will probably have to be replaced.
